BLACK WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP

Women Empowering Women!
MARCH 1-2, 2024
March is Women's History Month, and the National Women’s Empowerment Ministry has made history by recognizing and celebrating the lives and contributions of over 100 women.
Throughout history, women have experienced intimidation and adversities and but have made extreme progress. Through their pursuit of purpose, women have fought for change, such as gaining women's basic right to vote, reproductive freedom, equal pay and to have a seat at the table. Many of today's women show tremendous courage in their lives daily, making her story history. They have illuminated change, socially, professionally, within businesses, personally, and in their local communities.

The National Women’s Empowerment holds an annual leadership conference and red dress brunch award celebration during which community women are recognized for their outstanding leadership skills as well as their service to the community. This year we are calling all past award recipients to the red carpet as we celebrate the 100 Women Recognition milestone. When we help another woman rise, we all shine.

Our 2024 theme is Women Empower Women. Queen Bee Syndrome has been a barrier to the success of women for years, and the National Women’s Empowerment has served as a model organization and catalyst to the community on how women can celebrate one another, support one another, collaborate, and go further together. Help us recognize the women in our communities on March 2nd at the Red Dress Brunch Reunion.
